Grande plage

Stretching over 3km, Hendaye is a privileged site for families looking for space and safety.

This beach is a good compromise, both for beginners and for experienced surfers looking for a thrill. The beach operators offer various services such as the rental of tents, deckchairs and beach clubs for children.

Supervision from mid-May to early November.

Animals are not allowed on the beach, even if they are kept on a leash (see municipal decree posted at the entrance of the beach).

The shops/restaurants/walkways/town center available near the beach are adapted to people with reduced mobility (no steps, slopes or obstacles).

Beach access:

- New beach mat for PMR in front of the LAFON hotel (length: 40 m).

- A tiralo is available.
